The Collegiate Peaks

 
 

We’ve returned many times to the Collegiate Peaks, which are located in the center of Colorado, near the headwaters of the Arkansas River.  The nearest towns are Leadville and Buena Vista. At an elevation of 10,130 feet, Leadville is the highest incorporated town in the United States.
