Pecos Wilderness, 2008
This was our first trip as independent co-leaders. Our group, a total of 11 including ourselves, was highly congenial. The four first-time backpackers in our group performed splendidly. As often happens, the trail on the ground (indicated by our tracks) was not always aligned with the trail marked on the topo map.
